Absent Voter Ballot Information

All AV (absentee voter) applications are mailed to the resident’s Michigan home address. If this application has not been received by the voter, AV applications are available on the State of Michigan website, or you may notify the Carmel clerk’s office through email  clerk@carmeltownship-mi.gov   or by phone at 517-543-9650 .

Early In-Person Voting

In November 2022, Michigan voters overwhelmingly approved a constitutional amendment that gives voters the right to vote early and in-person.

During the early voting period, voters are issued a ballot and can then insert their ballot directly into a tabulator at their early voting site. All jurisdictions in Eaton County, EXCEPT Delta Charter Township and Windsor Charter Township will vote at the Carmel Township Hall, 661 Beech Hwy Charlotte, MI 48813. 

Saturday: 8:00am – 4:00pm

Sunday: 8:00am – 4:00pm

Monday: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Tuesday: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Wednesday: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Thursday: 12:00pm – 8:00pm

Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Saturday: 8:00am – 4:00pm

Sunday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
